AI-ASSISTED DECK BUILDING

Describe your panel.
Build from there.

Create a custom MATRIC deck with your AI assistant. Let the MATRIC Deck Skill help turn your ideas and actual configuration into controls, actions and supported live feedback.

MATRIC DECK SKILL

Less manual wiring.
More of your own setup.

Tell your assistant what you want to control, which device you use and how you want the panel to work. The skill helps inspect the relevant configuration, build a layout and package an editable deck for MATRIC.

Requires a compatible skill-enabled AI assistant, Python 3.11+ and MATRIC to use the finished deck.

BUILT AROUND YOUR CONFIGURATION

Start with what you want to do.

Explore two illustrative workflows. The assistant prepares the deck; MATRIC and the configured integration run it.

OBS STUDIO 01 / YOUR STREAM

Your scenes.
Your streaming deck.

“Use my OBS setup to build a tablet panel for scene switching, microphone mute and active-scene feedback.”
  1. Inspect your setup

Read scenes, sources and audio state through OBS WebSocket, or use an exported collection.

  2. Create matching controls

Build actions using your scene and source names, with supported state bindings.

  3. Review, import and test

Import the generated .deck, then check actions and feedback with MATRIC’s OBS connection configured.

DCS WORLD 02 / YOUR COCKPIT

Your aircraft.
A panel with feedback.

“Build an F-16C ICP panel using my installed DCS-BIOS definitions, with simulator feedback and a DBMM output checklist.”
  1. Read aircraft definitions

Use the installed DCS-BIOS definitions for your aircraft to identify supported inputs and outputs.

  2. Build controls and bindings

Generate cockpit command actions, simulator feedback bindings and a checklist of required DBMM outputs.

  3. Connect and verify

Configure DCS-BIOS and DBMM, review and import the deck, then test commands and feedback in the intended aircraft.

Illustrative requests and workflows, not recordings of a live generation session. Available commands and feedback depend on the selected configuration.

FROM IDEA TO IMPORTABLE DECK

Describe. Generate. Make it yours.

Your assistant handles much of the layout and binding work. You stay in control of what goes into your setup.

01

Describe

Choose your app or aircraft, the controls you need and your phone or tablet layout.

02

Inspect

Provide the relevant definitions or configuration. OBS live discovery uses read-only requests.

03

Generate

Create editable deck files and an importable .deck package, with integration requirements.

04

Review & use

Review the actions, configure dependencies, import into MATRIC and test. Refine the deck in the editor.

MORE WAYS TO CREATE

Your bindings.
A head start on your panel.

The skill can also read supported input profiles for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous to help build controls around your bindings.

These input-profile workflows create input controls. Live game-state feedback requires a suitable separate integration.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST PROMPT

A few useful things to know.

Is AI deck building built into the MATRIC app?

It is an optional workflow using a compatible AI assistant with the MATRIC Deck Skill installed. The skill creates files for import into MATRIC; you can continue using the visual editor independently.

What do I need for OBS feedback?

The skill can discover OBS through a read-only WebSocket connection or an exported collection. Running the generated native OBS actions and supported feedback needs MATRIC’s OBS integration configured. An exported collection may not contain the latest live state.

What do I need for DCS two-way integration?

DCS, DCS-BIOS, DCS-BIOS-MATRIC-Middleware (DBMM) and MATRIC must be configured for the intended aircraft. The skill uses installed definitions and produces a required-output checklist. Deck import alone does not configure DBMM or prove live operation.

Does generating a deck make it ready for every setup?

Review the generated actions and integration requirements, then test on your intended device and application. Structural checks do not establish correct live behavior. The skill prepares the package; it does not install the deck or run its controls for you.

How do I get the skill?

Follow the installation instructions in the MATRIC Deck Skill repository. You need a compatible skill-enabled AI assistant and Python 3.11 or newer for its helpers. MATRIC is needed to use the finished deck.
